What do you do when temptation knocks on your door?
It often comes quietly — in small thoughts, excuses, or moments of weakness.
Here are five truths to remember:
1️⃣ Temptation comes from the enemy, not from God.
If it leads you away from His will, it’s not from Him.
2️⃣ It targets your weaknesses.
Be aware of the areas where you’re most vulnerable.
3️⃣ Stay alert in hard moments.
When you’re hungry, angry, tired, or alone — that’s when the enemy strikes.
4️⃣ Visualize yourself obeying God.
Picture a life of peace, freedom, and integrity.
5️⃣ Strengthen your defense with God’s Word.
Reading Scripture daily builds your spiritual shield.

And remember this promise:
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.
And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.
But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
— 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV)
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for giving me strength to resist temptation.
Keep my heart steady, my mind clear, and my eyes on You.
Amen.
