Have you ever felt trapped in anxiety or depression?
I know because I have been there.
There was a time when anxiety and depression filled my days.
I tried to hold everything together by my own strength, but nothing brought peace.
In the middle of that brokenness, I met the only One who could rescue me: God.
He healed my heart, restored my hope, and gave me a purpose.
During that season of healing, I heard His voice clearly saying:
“Go and tell them to come out from where they are and go to the place I have called them.”
From that calling, Get Out of There was born — a movement to help others rise from pain, fear, or emptiness and walk into the life and purpose God has already prepared for them.
Today, every talk, every book, and every act of compassion is my way of responding to that calling. My story is living proof that no darkness is too deep for God to bring His light.
“The Lord had said to Abram, ‘Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you.’” - Genesis 12:1, NIV
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.” - Isaiah 61:1, NIV
