Does the past still hurt?

Some wounds time cannot heal — only God can.
We think we’ve closed certain chapters, but one memory can awaken the pain again.
In those moments, God doesn’t ask us to numb the pain,
He asks us to surrender it.

God doesn’t patch up the old — He makes all things new.
When we place our grief in His hands, He turns ruins into hope and pain into purpose.

Lord, thank You for not leaving me in my ruins.
Today I place my grief and my wounds in Your hands.
Make me new again.
Heal what time could not heal, and fill my soul with Your peace.
